SheIn OTS Ruffle Dress

Have you all heard of SheIn? It recently came on my radar, and after some investigating, I just had to try it out! If you’re like me, the cheap prices for such cute pieces seemed too good to be true. I’ll admit, I was skeptical. I had seen tons of people wearing this particular dress, and thought, “Why not? Let’s give it a go!”

I ordered this darling off-the-shoulder ruffle dress for less than $20 (yes, it’s THAT affordable!), and eagerly awaited its arrival! I will say I am really pleased with the results. It’s important to remember that with such low prices, your expectations on quality should be kept pretty low. Yes, all seams and hems are in-tact, but no, you won’t find the highest quality of super-soft fabric in the pieces that you order. Nonetheless, they are similar (in my case) to the photos pictured online, and get the job done in my opinion! If I can offer a shopping tip at SheIn, I suggest purchasing items that come with a gallery at the bottom of the listing. These are photos of the piece that have been purchased, worn, and posted by customers. This lets you see how the item actually fits on someone, and helps put an image to the reviews! One of my favorite bloggers, Kate, from Lonestar Southern, did an entire YouTube video on her experience with a variety of pieces from SheIn, and you can watch it here!

I’ve noticed that this year I am very much into anything blue and anything with stripes. So it came as no surprise that this new dress of mine had both! I love the somewhat nautical, very feminine look of the sky blue, and the stripe just adds a little bit of prep that I can’t resist! I went for a more casual look, something I might wear to lunch with friends, so I paired it with my favorite slip-on sandals. This is my second pair of these babies and I can’t tell you how much I love them. They’re definitely on the pricey side just for sandals, but I love the dressy look they give to a fairly casual outfit, and they are SO INCREDIBLY comfortable! They come in tons of colors, both in neutrals and bright hues, the ones pictured here are the “Sand Patent”.

The day I took these photos, I shot a bunch of looks. Conveniently, I completely forgot my jewelry for every. single. look. Whomp, whomp. If I hadn’t I would’ve been wearing these fun tassel earrings, what girl can say no to a pop of pink like that?!

|| DRESS: SheIn ruffle dress || SHOES: Tory Burch “Miller” in Sand Patent || EARRINGS: (if I remembered to bring them) BaubleBar beaded tassel earrings || BAG: nude clutch (mine is old from Target, similar linked) ||

I had such a great time this past weekend, but am GIDDY about this coming weekend! Zach and I are going to a super fun concert, stay tuned for the deets!

Cheers from Napa,
